Change in Summer Plans

So I’ve decided that I won’t be going to Ehwa’s Korean Language Program in June-August. In stead, I’ll do their Winter 2013 program (December-February). The benefit of doing it this way would be:

  1. Cheaper roundtrip airfare (September ’13 – February ’14, rather than June-December ’13)
  2. No rush in planning housing and visa (I can look around for goshitels and hasukjibs in person, and continue on a student visa from Hanyang)
  3. Won’t have to skip the last three classes of guitar (which, I found out on the first day (yesterday) I can’t afford to do anyway, since I joined the more academic/serious guitar instructor this time, and he actually has tests and performances)

So now I have June-August free… and I’ll be in Toronto… which I was hoping against. It does give me time to save up more, but that is only if I find myself a job. And if I don’t… to be quite honest, I am pretty sure I’d be spending more money than saving during the next three months. I’ve already been going out with friends more often this past month of vacation. Plans are being made spontaneously almost every week. My money is going to fly out the window, I know it. I just hope that I’ll have enough left by the end, at least the amount I started with.
